Scope and Content Note
The Pirie MacDonald photographic collection includes single portraits of men. These
portraits include prominent men in in politics, religion, art, science, literature,
music, and exploration. Highlights of the collection include the 26th President of
the United States, Theodore Roosevelt; 28th President of the United States, Woodrow
Wilson; sculptor, Alexander Stirling Calder; and former New York governor, Frank W.
Higgins.
