and became the International World Calendar Association. Correspondence, speeches,

clippings, and photographs relating to the organization.

Journal of calendar reform.
Acquisition Information
The records of the World Calendar Association were given to the Library of Congress by
Elisabeth Achelis, former president of the organization, in 1956. The papers of Wilhem
Henry Souder, scientist, were transferred from the United States National Bureau of
Standards in 1954 and subsequently added to this collection. Additional papers from the
office of the president of the organization, now called the International World Calender
Association, were given to the Library in 2001.
Processing History
The records of the World Calendar Association were arranged and described in 1957 and
revised in 1997 by Margit Kerwin. An addition was processed in 2008 by Nicholas Newlin.
The finding aid was revised in 2011.
