The papers of Thomas Bailey Aldrich (1836-1907) span the years 1873-1901 and consist of correspondence and a bound volume containing both a holograph and typescript of "Monody on the Death of Wendell Phillips." The correspondence contains letters sent by Aldrich and his wife, Lilian Woodman Aldrich, concerning personal and social matters. Most of the correspondence is to Aldrich's friend, Edward Howard House.
