The papers of Lorenzo Johnston Greene, African-American historian, educator, editor, and civil rights and social activist, were given to the Library of Congress in 1990 by his wife, Thomasina T. Greene.
The Greene Papers were processed in 1994 and revised and expanded in 2009 with the addition of material not processed at the time of the original organization and in description.
