  • -  Summary of audio segment: TC asks whether it's because they're women that they provide that sort of environment, have that sort of attitude. AC says yes, it is. SC-M takes a phone call, TC recalls an earlier part of the conversation. SC-M says that when one of the relatives are sick, because they're women they feel more, ask after sick relatives, have been to funerals, etc. You see them every day, see the pain, and have gotten to know their families. And people open up to them. SC-M doesn't think it would be the same if they were male owners. SC-M thinks women feel more than men. TC asks if that carries over into the business, and is a more "feeling" sort of business as a result of having female owners. AC says Maybe, and laughs. AC but that doesn't affect [discipline], at 8 am they have to be here, they have to be working, they can't be talking. Have to play that authoritative role. AC says sometimes, on Fridays, the people stay after work, have a soda, and sit and talk in the lunchroom.
