  • -  Interview with Carmine Federico, co-owner of People's Park Hardware on 21st Avenue.
  • -  Summary of audio segment: TC asks why CF wanted to go into business. He says August-September 1961 he opened his first store, a pizza restaurant. Remembers his son was born just after he opened the store, and CF was too busy to go to the hospital. They had the Christening right in the restaurant. Had about 20 tables, invited relatives, had party in restaurant, "my own place." It felt good. Too bad the business didn't work out.
